Right (2/4)

Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.Better is a little with righteousness than large income with injustice.
If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.
Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.The Rock, his work is perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God, without deceit, just and upright is he.
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth. For the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true.
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled. But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart; who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors.
Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path.
Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit. Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.
A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone, and a word in season, how good it is!
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.Give justice to the weak and the orphan; maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.Come to a sober and right mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are truth, and his ways are justice; and he is able to bring low those who walk in pride.
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth. We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. To the one who conquers I will give a place with me on my throne, just as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? Now who will harm you if you are eager to do what is good?
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.“All things are lawful,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
