Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:7-8	For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. sin salvation death

For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more certain it is that, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. However, the gift is not like the transgression. For if the transgression of one man led to the death of the many, how much greater was the overflowing effect of the grace of God and the gift of the one man Jesus Christ that has abounded for the many. Romans 5:15	But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. sin grace Jesus
For just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one man the many will be made righteous. Hence, as sin’s reign resulted in death, so the grace of God also might reign through righteousness resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:21	So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. sin grace eternal life
What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer? Romans 6:1-2	What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? sin grace life
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Romans 6:3	Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Jesus baptism
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall also be united with him in his resurrection. We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin. Romans 6:5-6	For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. sin resurrection addiction
Nor should you present any part of your body as an instrument for wickedness leading to sin. Rather, present yourselves to God as having been raised from death to life and the parts of your body to God as instruments for righteousness. Romans 6:13	And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. sin righteousness sacrifice
For sin is no longer to have any power over you, since you are not under the Law but under grace. Romans 6:14	For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. sin grace law
What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not! Romans 6:15	What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! sin grace law
However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life. Romans 6:22	But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. freedom redeemer sin
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23	For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. sin eternal life reward
What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.” Romans 7:7	What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” sin law desires
Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2	There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. law judgment redeemer
Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things. Romans 8:5	For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. life body Spirit
The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace. Romans 8:6	For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Spirit peace life
Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God. Romans 8:8	So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. sin dependence desires
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you. Romans 8:11	But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. Romans 8:14	For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. obedience Spirit children
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery leading to fear; rather, you received the Spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out, “Abba! Father!” Romans 8:15	For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” fear Spirit children
The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God. Romans 8:16	The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. God Spirit children
I consider that the sufferings we presently endure are not worth comparing with the glory to be revealed in us. Romans 8:18	For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. eternal life salvation suffering
Indeed, creation itself eagerly awaits the revelation of the children of God. Romans 8:19	For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. creation Father children
