| But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. | But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. |
| In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. | Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. |

| If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. |
| For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. | For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. |

| Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. | So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. |
| Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! | Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! |
| For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. | For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. |
