Romans 12 (3/4)

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.So that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.
And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.And do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God.
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.
So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.
