| Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. | Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. | Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord. | Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord. |

| Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” | Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. |
| And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ | And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. | Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. |
| So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. | So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. |
| When anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned. | And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing. |
| Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. | And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. |
| You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own. | And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. |
| I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. | And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. |
| But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. | But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. |
| But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. | But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. |
| My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? | My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? |
| Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold. | Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. |
| For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. | For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. |
| She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. | And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. |
| Everyone comes naked from their mother’s womb, and as everyone comes, so they depart. They take nothing from their toil that they can carry in their hands. | As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. |
| All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). | Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. |
| Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. | Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. |
| If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. | If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. |
| For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you. | For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee. |
| And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. | And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. |
| If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married. | When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken. |
| For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” | For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. | God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
