As you don’t know what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child; even so you don’t know the work of God who does all.As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands.May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.
The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge, but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.If this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
They set up over his head the accusation against him written, “THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.
If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it. For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh.The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation.”He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
Looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
He was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.
When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.
Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
God will bless us. All the ends of the earth shall fear him.May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.
For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes.
Cease to do evil.
