- As for God, his way is perfect.
Yahweh’s word is tried.
He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. - We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- We love him, because he first loved us.
- Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
- This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
- Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.
- Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. - You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child. If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry; and my wrath will grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
- But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.
- May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
- I am coming quickly! Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown.
- Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded you, to love Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.

Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. - By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
- No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
- Let all that you do be done in love.
- A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.
- Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else.
- Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
- And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.
- Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,
before the sons of men! - You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.
