- You are all-beautiful, my love,
without the slightest blemish. - If you keep my commandments,
you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love. - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
- I love you, O Lord, my strength,
O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer.
My God is my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold. - Protect me, O God,
for in you I take refuge. - Listen, my son, and take my words to heart,
and the years of your life will be multiplied. - And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to place your trust in mortals. - And take the helmet of salvation as well as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- I am not asking you
to take them out of the world,
but I do ask you
to protect them from the evil one. - Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.
- While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after he had pronounced the blessing, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take this and eat; this is my body.”
- If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. - Prepare in advance what you want to say,
and return to the Lord.
Say to him, “Take away all guilt
and give us what is good,
so that we may present as offerings
the bullocks from our stalls.” - As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Then he said to all who were with him, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
- An ignorant man causes strife by his insolence,
but wisdom is found with those who take advice. - Whoever does not love
does not know God,
because God is love. - You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain.
- Take delight in the Lord,
and he will grant you what your heart desires. - Where can I go to hide from your spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to the heavens, you are there;
if I take my rest in the netherworld, you are also there. - You shall serve the Lord, your God. He will bless your bread and water and take away sickness from your midst.
- He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
- The way of God is blameless;
the Lord’s promise has proved true.
He is a shield to all
who take refuge in him. - This is my commandment:
love one another
as I have loved you.
Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.The way of God is blameless,
and the Lord’s promise proves true;
he is a shield to all
who flee to him for safety. Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing
but rejoices in the truth.
Love bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.Next verse!With image
