- You are altogether beautiful, my love;
there is no flaw in you. - If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,
my God, my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to put confidence in mortals. - Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Take words with you
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all guilt;
accept that which is good,
and we will offer
the fruit of our lips.” - I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.
- Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
- By insolence the heedless make strife,
but wisdom is with those who take advice. - Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord. - He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! - Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.
- We love because he first loved us.
- But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I shall come out like gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps;
I have kept his way and have not turned aside. - This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.
Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. If you will only obey the Lord your God, by diligently observing all his commandments that I am commanding you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.Next verse!With image
