I was eager to respond to those who did not consult me. I was anxious to be approached by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am! Here I am!” to a nation that did not summon me. | I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name. |
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. | Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. |

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen. | And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. |

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to announce good news to the oppressed, to strengthen the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to those held in captivity and release to those who have been imprisoned. | The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. |

Come to me, all you who are weary and overburdened, and I will give you rest. | Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. |
Never will I forget your commands, for through them you have given me life. | I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me. |
But you, O Lord, are a shield to protect me; you are my glory and the one who raises my head high. | But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. |
I keep the Lord always before me, for with him at my right hand I will never fall. | I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. |
