- Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed.
Save me, and I will be saved;
for you are my praise. - Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation.
I wait for you all day long. - Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Yahweh said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh.
- But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - For you are my rock and my fortress,
therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me. - My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - Out of my distress, I called on Yah.
Yah answered me with freedom. - Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh.
Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. - Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? - Yahweh is my shepherd;
I shall lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. - And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great.”
- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
- Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness.
According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity.
Cleanse me from my sin. - I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
- Yet I am Yahweh your God from the land of Egypt;
and you shall acknowledge no god but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
- Though an army should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear.
Though war should rise against me,
even then I will be confident. - I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask.
I am found by those who didn’t seek me.
I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name. - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
