| Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him. | One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. | But the one who did not know those wishes, and who acted in such a manner as to deserve a beating, will be beaten less severely. Much will be demanded of a person to whom much has been given, and even more will be asked of a person to whom more has been entrusted. | But he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked. |

| Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts. | Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions. |

| Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God. | Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God. |

| The brother who is in modest circumstances should take pride in being raised up. Likewise, the one who is rich should glory in being brought low, for he will disappear like a flower of the field. | Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position; and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away. |
| I baptize you with water for repentance, but the one who is coming after me is more powerful than I am. I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. | I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. | We also know that the Son of God has come and given us understanding so that we can know the one who is true. And we are in the one who is true, since we are in his Son Jesus Christ. | But do not ignore this one fact, beloved: with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. | But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. |
| Now an intermediary is not necessary when there is only one party, and God is one. | Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one. |

| The body is one, although it has many parts; and all the parts, though many, form one body. So it is with Christ. | For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. |
| The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct. | A man’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. |
| There is only one thing I ask of the Lord, just one thing I seek: to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, so that I may enjoy the beauty of the Lord and gaze on his temple. | One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple. |
| And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful. | And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. |
