| And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. | But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” |
| For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. | For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. |
| What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? | What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
| And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. | And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith. |
| Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. | No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. |
| And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. | And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. |
| But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. | The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. |
| Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. | Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. |
| For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. | For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. |

| Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. | But test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. |
| He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. | He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! |
| Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. | From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. |
| Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. | Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. |
| But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. | Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ. |
| These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. | These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. |
| Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. | Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. |
| And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. | Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. |
| Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. | Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. |
| But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. | But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. |
| And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. | Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. |
