Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love him.
Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.

You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him.But as it is written, “Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.
Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need.Honor widows who are widows indeed.

No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.
Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.
Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.

But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
