Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil.
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
