Chinese (traditional)- Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! - Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. - May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
- So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
- If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
- Let all that you do be done in love.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
- A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
- But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all offenses. - Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
- This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- And rend your hearts and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster. - Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
- And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity
and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love. - Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
- And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble.See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.Next verse!With image
