Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days, where he was tempted by the devil. During that time he ate nothing, and at the end of it he was famished. Like a city that has been breached and made defenseless is the man devoid of self-control. Proverbs 25:28	Like a city that is broken into and without walls So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit. self-control desires
Therefore, he has the full power to save those who approach God through him, since he lives forever to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25	Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. eternal life Savior salvation
But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience. Romans 8:25	But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it. trust hope patience

He is the reflection of God’s glory and the perfect expression of his very being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3	And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. If we claim that we have fellowship with him while we continue to live in darkness, we are lying and do not live in the truth. 1 John 1:6	If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. sin honesty truth
Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. For you are achieving the goal of your faith, that is, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9	And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. faith joy salvation

I know how to live with little, and I know how to live with plenty. In any and all circumstances, I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need. Brethren, I exhort you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to be in full agreement with one another and not permit any divisions to arise among you. What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer? Romans 6:1-2	What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? sin grace life

With our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. For the sake of the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, ignoring its shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
