Therefore you are great, O Lord God; for there is no one like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.How great you are, Lord God! There is no one like you, and there is no God except you alone, as everything that we have heard confirms.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth.Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory shine over all the earth.
So we fasted and petitioned our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.Therefore, we fasted and prayed to God to grant us a safe journey, and he answered our prayer.
See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything impossible for me to accomplish?

Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.Adulterers! Do you not know that love of the world results in enmity with God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a lover of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.If someone says, “I love God,” but at the same time hates his brother, he is a liar. For whoever does not love the brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow.Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person will reap only what he sows.
The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever.The grass may wither and the flower may fade, but the word of our God will endure forever.
Likewise all to whom God gives wealth and possessions and whom he enables to enjoy them, and to accept their lot and find enjoyment in their toil—this is the gift of God.Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.
Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.Every word of God has proved to be true; he is a shield to those who trust in him.
What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder.You believe that there is one God. You do well to assert that. But even the demons believe and tremble.
Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.Therefore, accept one another for the glory of God, just as Christ has accepted you.
And the Lord God made garments of skins for the man and for his wife, and clothed them.The Lord God made clothing for the man and woman out of animal skins and he clothed them.

Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?Who indeed conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
