And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward.
If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law.
