He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. James 4:2	You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin. 1 Peter 4:1	So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. Micah 7:18	Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward. Proverbs 11:18	Evil people get rich for the moment, but the reward of the godly will last. righteousness reward
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7	He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. Savior forgiveness blood
Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. Luke 12:3	Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear! speaking listening light

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
