Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food.
It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him.The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him.
