The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

None of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but those who hate to be rebuked are stupid.Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.
Come to a sober and right mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.
Even before a word is on my tongue, O Lord, you know it completely.Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.
For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God.For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
Those who are wise understand these things; those who are discerning know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
Our God is in the heavens; he does whatever he pleases.Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.
Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
