Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; if he closes his lips, he is regarded as intelligent.
He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly.A patient man shows good sense, but a quick-tempered man displays the height of folly.
For in much wisdom is much grief, And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.For much wisdom can result in much sorrow, and those who increase their knowledge also increase their grief.
Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding.Blessed is the person who has found wisdom, the one who has gained understanding.

A wise son makes a glad father, But a foolish son is the grief of his mother.A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son gives grief to his mother.

A fool despises his father’s instruction, But he who receives correction is prudent.A fool spurns his father’s correction, but whoever heeds admonition is prudent.
