- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
- But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
- The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
