- There is no one holy like the Lord;

there is no Rock like our God. - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
- The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts. - But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
