2 Timothy - ESV & KJV

>
«2 Timothy 3:16-17»
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him.It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Bible verse of the day

I stretch out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah

Random Bible Verse

Though the fig tree should not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
and there be no herd in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
