Chinese (traditional)Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?”
For it is not wise to ask such questions. Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. Do not say,
“Why were the former days better than these?”
For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. Don’t long for “the good old days.”
This is not wise. Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. Don’t say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this. Do not assert that the past was better than the present,
for such a statement is not a sign of wisdom. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others.Next verse!With image
