“I find no pleasure in them”. - Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

Does the clay say to the potter,
‘What are you making?’
Does your work say,
‘The potter has no hands’? - Take words with you
and return to the Lord.
Say to him:
“Forgive all our sins
and receive us graciously,
that we may offer the fruit of our lips.” - I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” - All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
- Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
- But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
- Seek good, not evil,
that you may live.
Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,
just as you say he is.
