Bible Verses about 'Say'
- Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”
- What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
- But say the things which fit sound doctrine.
- So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
- You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.
- Don’t say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this.
- He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
- Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- Wake up righteously and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth.
- In that day you will say, “Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Declare his doings among the peoples! Proclaim that his name is exalted!”
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
- From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, “Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”
- Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth,
before the evil days come, and the years draw near,
when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them.” - Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
- Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so Yahweh, the God of Armies, will be with you,
as you say. - He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.” - What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
- But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
- My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘God’s Kingdom has come near to you.’
- For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
- Take words with you, and return to Yahweh.
Tell him, “Forgive all our sins,
and accept that which is good;
so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.” - You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?” When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.
- He said to them, “Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
- Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.”
- But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
- Woe to him who strives with his Maker—
a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth!
Shall the clay ask him who fashions it, ‘What are you making?’
or your work, ‘He has no hands’? - Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’
- Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.”
- I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.
- For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.
- But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
- For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand,
saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid.
I will help you.’ - Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.”
- “Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul.
“Therefore I will hope in him.” - Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom.”
- Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither is one who is sent greater than he who sent him.
- But I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God; nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.
- If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it. For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication,
then later to consider his vows. - You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’ but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
- For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.
- Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
- I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
- “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.
- Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
