Chinese (traditional)It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. Better to be patient than powerful;
better to have self-control than to conquer a city. One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and one whose temper is controlled than one who captures a city. One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city. However, if we confess our sins,
he who is faithful and just
will forgive our sins
and cleanse us from all wrongdoing. In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.Next verse!With image
