Chinese (traditional)
I, yes I, am the one who comforts you.
So why are you afraid of mere humans,
who wither like the grass and disappear?
I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you that you fear mere mortals,
human beings who are but grass.
I, even I, am he that comforteth you:
who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die,
and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.I, I am he who comforts you;
who are you that you are afraid of man who dies,
of the son of man who is made like grass. I, even I, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you should be afraid
Of a man who will die,
And of the son of a man who will be made like grass? I, I am he who comforts you;
why then are you afraid of a mere mortal who must die,
a human being who fades like grass? I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die,
and of the son of man who will be made as grass? I, I Myself, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man,
And of a son of man who is made like grass. I, I alone, am the one who comforts you.
Why then do you fear mortal men who must die,
human beings who must perish like grass? For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.Next verse!With image
