- For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
- Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
- Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
- The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
- Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death. - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
- We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
- This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
- And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
- And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.
- I acknowledge my sin unto thee,
and mine iniquity have I not hid.
I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord;
and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- Righteousness exalteth a nation:
but sin is a reproach to any people. - Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice:
let thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.Next verse!With image
