ESV
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer's; he makes me tread on my high places.
“See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.”“Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.”
