- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
- It is the will of God that you should lead a life of sanctity. You must refrain from sexual immorality. Each of you must learn to acquire a wife from pure and honorable motives, not to gratify passion like the Gentiles who do not know God.
- He is a rock, his deeds are perfect,
and all of his ways are just.
He is a God of truth who does no wrong;
he is just and upright. - Therefore, by a single offering he has made perfect forever those who are being sanctified.
- A man’s ways may seem honorable to him,
but the Lord weighs his motives.
