Hope (2/2)

In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short.Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.
It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Bible verse of the day
