James 1:26

If any think they are religious, and do not bridle their tongues but deceive their hearts, their religion is worthless.

Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

If anyone thinks that he is religious but does not restrain his tongue, he is deceiving himself, and his religion is worthless.
