| For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. | But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. |
| And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. | Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. |
| For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. | When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. |
