- You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
- Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
- Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
- Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
- A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
- By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.Next verse!With image
