- The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
- You, Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures from generation to generation. - And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
- Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
- The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it.
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.Next verse!With image
