- Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. - I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” - You, Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures from generation to generation. - Let us examine our ways and test them,
and let us return to the Lord.
But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.”
