so that it may be clearly seen
that his deeds have been done in God. - The eyes are the lamp of the body. If your eyes are sound, your whole body will be filled with light. However, if your eyes are diseased, your whole body will be in darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great will that darkness be!
