Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man… Matthew 20:18-19

Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again. Matthew 20:18-19	“Listen,” he said, “we’re going up to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man will be betrayed to the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. They will sentence him to die. Then they will hand him over to the Romans to be mocked, flogged with a whip, and crucified. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave. Matthew 20:26-27	But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. humility serving neighbor

Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28	For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many. Jesus serving sacrifice
