Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Execute true justice, Show mercy and… Zechariah 7:9-10

Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother.’ Zechariah 7:9-10	This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Judge fairly, and show mercy and kindness to one another. Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other. evil righteousness gentleness
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 1 John 3:17	If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? money compassion love

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7	Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. love friendship rebirth
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Ecclesiastes 4:10	If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. relationships friendship

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:16	We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. love Jesus
If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Romans 12:18	Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. peace life
Do not forsake your own friend or your father’s friend, Nor go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity; Better is a neighbor nearby than a brother far away. Proverbs 27:10	Never abandon a friend— either yours or your father’s. When disaster strikes, you won’t have to ask your brother for assistance. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:12	No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. love God
Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6	No, this is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. Hebrews 3:12	Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. anger evil heart

There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? James 4:12	God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? law judgment salvation
You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s. Exodus 20:17	You must not covet your neighbor’s house. You must not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor. greed materialism law
Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave. Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind. Ecclesiastes 4:4	Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind. work desires materialism
Honor widows who are really widows. 1 Timothy 5:3	Take care of any widow who has no one else to care for her. community widows
Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. Acts 12:5	But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. prayer dependence community

And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

And I know it is important to love him with all my heart and all my understanding and all my strength, and to love my neighbor as myself. This is more important than to offer all of the burnt offerings and sacrifices required in the law.
