But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
For he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.Guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints.
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.

One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.
When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!Oh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their descendants forever!
I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.
God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.God settles the solitary in a home; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.
But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the Lord!
The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and wait there, that I may give you the tablets of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
