Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Not that I am referring to being in need; for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
