You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to… James 4:2

You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. James 4:2	You lust, and don’t have. You murder and covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. Romans 8:26	In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. speaking Spirit weakness

Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous. Psalm 143:1	Hear my prayer, Yahweh. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me. reliability righteousness faithfulness

In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. Psalm 118:5	Out of my distress, I called on Yah. Yah answered me with freedom. dependence comforter
For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance. Philippians 1:19	For I know that this will turn out to my salvation through your prayers and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. salvation Spirit
The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:12	For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. righteousness listening evil
So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer. Ezra 8:23	So we fasted and begged our God for this, and he granted our request. fasting

Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-10	Pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’ Father humility world
Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. James 5:14-15	Is any among you sick? In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. Psalm 34:6	This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. listening salvation poverty
But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. Mark 11:25	Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions. forgiveness Father sin
So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. Luke 11:13	If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him? Spirit family generosity
But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Acts 2:21	It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. salvation worship
When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before! Job 42:10	Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before. blessing money
But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. Acts 12:5	Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him. neighbor dependence community
After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:31	When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. Go back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord.’ 2 Kings 20:5	Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘Yahweh, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to Yahweh’s house.”’ sadness healing prophecy
But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! Matthew 5:44	But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. love persecution
I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded. Daniel 2:23	I thank you and praise you, O God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we desired of you; for you have made known to us the king’s matter. worship wisdom praise
Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless! Psalm 10:12	Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless. neighbor poverty

Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!

Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.
