Proverbs 11:2

When pride is nurtured, disgrace soon follows,
but wisdom is the hallmark of the humble.

When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom.

When pride cometh, then cometh shame:
but with the lowly is wisdom.
