- There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling.

and so Yahweh, the God of Armies, will be with you,
as you say. - Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
- You who love Yahweh, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of his saints.
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. - For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
- He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts, covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”
- Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
- Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- Don’t be wise in your own eyes.
Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
It will be health to your body,
and nourishment to your bones. - Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”
- And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears open to their prayer;
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake.
- For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
- Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?
- Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him.
Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way,
because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. - For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today.
- In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another.
- Yahweh will keep you from all evil.
He will keep your soul.
Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in,
from this time forward, and forever more. - No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon.
