- Honor widows who are really widows.
- To everything there is a season,

- He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
- Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow. - We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
- Defend the poor and fatherless;
Do justice to the afflicted and needy. - By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
- Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
- But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
- Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
- Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies. - Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
- Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
- A fool’s wrath is known at once,
But a prudent man covers shame. - Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
- It is honorable for a man to stop striving,
Since any fool can start a quarrel. - Whoever hides hatred has lying lips,
And whoever spreads slander is a fool. - Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
