Bible Verses about '1 Corinthians 7:3'

Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.
Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.
Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.”
Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.
Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
